Fall/Winter Programs

Our Fall/Winter Program runs for 6 months from October 1st to March 31st.  However, paddlers are welcome to join at any time with a pro-rated fee.  Please contact the Commodore at commodore@vypc.ca to discuss options.

Our programs are divided by age group and participation level. The participation level determines how often you are on the water and the number of events included in your membership fees.  Membership fees include coaching fees, facilities rental, equipment use, race registration and team building events.  For out of town events, boat transportation and race registration are included (personal travel expenses are the paddlers' responsibility).  Many programs contain some competitive events.

Practice and race schedules may be subject to change/cancellation due to weather or operational requirements.  Age guidelines are general and appropriateness for a program also depends on experience, maturity, and physical size. Placement of paddlers in appropriate programs is at the coaching staff's discretion.
